Transforming Breast Cancer Care: Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technologies
Archives of Breast Cancer invites high-quality submissions for a thematic collection highlighting the expanding role of artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced technologies in breast cancer research and clinical practice.
With the integration of AI, digital tools, and innovative technologies, breast cancer care is undergoing a fundamental transformation—from early detection and biological characterization to treatment planning, surgical precision, and outcome prediction. This collection aims to bring together impactful, clinically relevant, and forward-looking studies that reflect these advances.
Scope of Topics
We particularly encourage submissions in the following areas:
- Artificial intelligence in breast imaging, screening, and diagnosis
- Data-driven and AI-supported decision-making in treatment planning and clinical workflows
- Image-guided and intraoperative technologies
- Oncoplastic, reconstructive, and innovative surgical techniques
- Evolving strategies in axillary management
- Advanced radiotherapy techniques and technology-enabled treatment personalization
- Targeted therapies, immunotherapy, and novel therapeutic approaches supported by emerging technologies
- AI and advanced technologies in basic and translational research (including genomics, digital pathology, and biomarker discovery)
- Rehabilitation, survivorship, quality of life, and psychosocial care in the context of technological innovation
- Clinical implementation, validation, and real-world applications of AI and emerging technologies
We welcome original research articles, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, narrative reviews, technical reports, and selected perspective articles.
